VanSanten had a passion for modeling from her teenage years and started to work with Page Parkes Management. She tried to advance her modeling career by becoming a contestant on NBC's reality TV series Sports Illustrated: Swimsuit Model Search.

Despite her effort, she was not able to make it past the first episode.

She began to appear in minor roles in TV shows and movies from 1999 with shows like Steel Angel Kurumi, Three Wise Guys, and CSI: NY. She played the role of the Milligan in the horror movie, The Final Destination which was released in 2009.

The movie had other stars like Tony Todd, Ali Larter, Devon Sawa, and Kerr Smith.

2009 turned out to be the big year for her as she landed the role of Quinn James for One Tree Hill and stayed with the show till the end season of the show. The show starred Sophia Bush, Hilarie Burton, Chad Michael Murray and James Lafferty.

Since the end of the show, she has appeared in various shows including her recurring role in the TV show The Flash.

She has appeared in lead roles in shows like Gang Related, Shooter, and The Messengers. She is also the star of the independent psychological horror film Something Wicked which was filmed in 2009 but released in 2014.

She has not had any major roles in recent years, but we do hope to see more of her works, be as an actor or as a model.
