Keef, after the release of his mixtape The Glory Road and BangI Don't Like became a household name in Chicago. I Don't Like was later remixed by rapper Kanye West which became an immediate success, peaking the Billboard TOp 10.

Keef's debut album titled Finally Rich, featuring guest rappers 50 Cent, Wiz Khalifa, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, and Lil Reese, was released with the records on December 18, 2012. In October 2014, Keef was dropped by Interscope Records.

Besides, Keef owns an independent label imprint, Glory Boyz Entertainment (GBE). Keef and his manager Rovan Manuel, each own 40% of shares. Not to mention, but his income from the label also substantially add to his net worth.

Chief Keef's Legal Troubles

On January 27, 2011, Keef was pleaded on the charges of heroin manufacture and distribution. He had to serve time on house arrest. Keef was placed in house arrest at his grandmother's house for 30 days, followed by another 30 days of home confinement.
