Heath was still qualified to compete in Mr. Olympia but the confidence that he had gained winning the IFBB events earlier were shattered with his result in Arnold Classic.
Heath decided against entering the contest and came back to compete in 2008 and won Iron Man Show and placed second in the 2008 Arnold Classic after preparing for a whole year. Heath gained his confidence back and competed for the 2008 Mr. Olympia where he took the third place making him the first debut bodybuilder to take third place since Flex Wheeler in 1993.
2009 was supposed to be his year when he was to win Mr. Olympia and was the favorite to win. However, due to health issues, he lost his weight and was only able to reach 5th place in the competition.
In the 2010 Mr. Olympia, he stood 2nd to Jay Cutler. Doing all he could and still not claiming the top spot did not get him down but instead increased his focus.
He came back in 2011 as a strong contender and secured the title of Mr. Olympia. He earned the nickname "the gift" with his win. He has stayed at the top of the competition ever since and has not lost the title for 6 consecutive years.
His wins put him right next to one of the bodybuilding legends Arnold Schwarzenegger.
As of January 2018, the net worth of Phile Heath is $5 million that puts him in the list of one of the richest bodybuilders in the world. Heath has been the winner of Mr. Olympia for 7 years now and the winner of the competition gets the prize money which goes in an upwards graph by $200,000.
Aside from winning in competitions, Heath has also released five DVD's on the topic of bodybuilding and has appeared in the internationally famous pumping Iron's sequel Generation Iron which all add to his income. He also has an endorsement deal with Complex that is also a source of his revenue.
As one of the wealthiest bodybuilders in the world, Heath does have some expensive hobbies. Heath's love for power does not end with his body but he loves the power to be in his cars as well.
Heath currently owns three cars; 2008 Cadillac Escalade EXT, a Mercedes-Benz S550 and a 2010 Bentley Continental Supersports. If he wins next Mr. Olympia, he has the desire to add a new car to his collection which could either be Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport or a Lamborghini Aventador LP700.
