Well, the prize money for the 27th season of the show is yet to be disclosed but comparing with the past seasons, the contestants making their way to final reportedly earns $345,000 in total.

As for a fact, the final 3 contestants in DWTS each receive the same amount as the prize money, so the finalists Evanna Lynch and Keo Motsepe, and Alexis Ren and Alan Bersten are likely to earn same as of Bones.

As reported, each contestant at the start off of the season gets a $125,000 signing bonus which increases gradually after a week passes by.

The winner of the 21st season Bindi Irwin was paid  $10,000 extra per week for weeks 3 and 4, $15,000 for week 5, $20,000 for weeks 6 and 7, $30,000 for weeks 8 and 9, and $50,000 for weeks 10 and 11.

Comparing with The Voice and America's Got Talent (AGT), the DWTS winners are paid more as The Voice winner banks around $100,000 while AGT's $1 million prize money is reduced to $150,000 to $250,000 after the tax cut off.

Initially having worked at the college station KSWH-FM 91.1, Bobby Bones moved to KLAZ in Hot Springs, Arkansas for full time in 2001.

As reported, Bones first full-time radio contract paid him $17,000. Then in 2002, Bobby was hired by Q100/KQAR, though he later shifted to another radio station KLAL.

Eventually, Bones began working for KHFI-FM and is working as the host of The Bobby Jones Show since its premiere in 2003 that airs on WSIX-FM Studios.

Later in February 2013, Bones' show The Bobby Bones Show went into national syndication with Premiere Networks owned by the Clear TV.

Bones, in 2016, admitted that he spent around $13,000 on Nashville billboards in 2013 for a  PR campaign to garner sympathy with a slogan GO AWAY BOBBY BONES.
